Questions people ask

How much does the AeroMobil cost?

There is no current price. In 2017 AeroMobil took pre-orders for a limited first edition at 1.2 to 1.5 million euros, but the company announced bankruptcy in 2023.

When can you buy the AeroMobil?

You can't. The company stopped operating in 2023 after failing to raise new funding, and no buyer or restart of the program has been reported.

Do you need a pilot's license to fly the AeroMobil?

The question is moot because the vehicle is not for sale. It was designed as a conventional runway aircraft, so it would have needed a pilot license as well as a driving license.

Has the AeroMobil actually flown?

Yes. Prototype 3.0 first flew in 2014, and AeroMobil says flight testing of the 4.0 began in September 2020. No production vehicle was ever delivered.
